Jurnal Kajian Pembaruan Hukum publishes comparative, peer-reviewed scholarship on legal reform, with Indonesia and Southeast Asia as its analytical centre of gravity and the wider Global South as its comparative horizon. The Editorial Board welcomes original submissions that place Indonesian legal developments in dialogue with other jurisdictions on the following themes:
- economic and commercial law reform, including competition, trade secrets, investment, and labour protection;
- law, technology, and digital governance, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, data regulation, and e-commerce;
- constitutional law, democracy, and legislative reform;
- environmental and natural-resource law, including emerging climate technologies; and
- the adaptation and transplantation of legal norms within domestic legal orders.
Doctrinal, comparative, and socio-legal approaches are all welcome, with preference given to cross-disciplinary work that engages more than one jurisdiction.
